Scheduling and fees
When can I have a program?
Worcester Opera Works is available all year round. Regarding touring operas for
students, our normal performance hours
during the school year are
9 a.m.-2 p.m. on Fridays. Other times and days can be arranged with advance
notice.

How much does a school performance cost?
Worcester Opera Works has the following fee schedule for the current season:
One program in one school- $500
Two programs in one school (same day)- $900
Is that all?
There may be nominal charges for additional time and effort including the
following:
Travel 35 miles outside of Worcester
More than 1.5 hour waiting time between programs
Preparation for Worcester Opera Works
Once you have engaged W.O.W. to do a program at your school, we will need
you to provide the following:
1.) Tuned 88 key piano with bench
2.) Chairs for the performers
In addition to the performance of a show, Worcester Opera Works will
provide a written contract and a school information sheet with
information which can be read to the students before the show begins.
We also provide a teacher feedback form (which we ask the teachers to
fill out and send back collectively), as feedback of this type is
invaluable to us.
Other concerts
The singers
involved in Worcester Opera Works are also available for other events, including
recitals, concerts, and other solo work. We have many singers who
sing with us on concerts and in other venues. Please contact us with
any questions or requests and we will be happy to get you in touch with the artist(s) who might be able to serve your musical needs.
