Worcester Opera Works
joined forces with the Master Singers of Worcester to present a
semi-staged concert version of Gilbert & Sullivan’s The Mikado at
7:30 PM on March 13, 2010, at Worcester State College’s Sullivan
Auditorium (486 Chandler
Street, Worcester, MA 01602). The production was conducted by Malcolm Halliday, and
featured the Master Singers as the "Japanese chorus" and selected
artists of Worcester Opera Works performing the lead roles, in costume,
and acting out the dialogue as well. To read more about Master
